COMPANY PRIVACY POLICY HOTEL SERVICES DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION

§1

GENERAL INFORMATION

We kindly inform you that the Hotel Services Development Association with its registered office at ul. Zofii Nałkowskiej 10, 40-425 in Katowice, processes the following scope of your personal data;

- Data required to respond to an enquiry via the contact form: name, surname, e-mail address.

- Basic data needed to complete a reservation at our hotel: first name, surname, residential address, PESEL or passport number, NIP*.

- Details required for the invoice or bill (name, surname, residential address, PESEL or passport number, NIP*).

* If a bill or invoice for the stay is to be issued to the company.

These data were obtained as a result of civil law activities, requests for quotation or correspondence with our company as of the date of the aforementioned activities.

When booking accommodation in EuroHotel Katowice via the booking portal, all guest data is transmitted to the hotel by these entities, in particular including personal data, i.e. name, date of stay, e-mail address, telephone number.

The exact source from which the data was obtained can be obtained from the hotel reception.

In addition, guests of our hotel receive consent to data processing when checking in at reception.

§2

CONTROLLER

The administrator of the personal data of the Guests of EuroHotel Katowice located at 10 Zofii Nałkowskiej Street, 40-425 Katowice (hereinafter: Administrator) is:

The Administrator can be contacted in writing, by postal mail to: Association for the Development of Hotel Services ul. Zofii Nałkowskiej 10, 40-425 Katowice or by e-mail at recepcja@eurohotelkatowice.pl.

The Administrator shall use his/her best endeavours to ensure that all physical, technical and organisational measures are in place to protect personal data against accidental or wilful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, use or access, in accordance with all applicable legislation.

§3

DATA PROCESSING

Our guests' data are processed on the basis of the Personal Data Protection Act of 29.08.1997 (i.e. Journal of Laws 2016, item 922);

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);

The purposes of the processing and the legitimate interests pursued by the company are:

- answers to booking requests,

- the provision of hotel services requested by guests,

The Company does not share data with other entities, unless additional arrangements have been made
in this regard with you. The processing of personal data for the purposes of the aforementioned services falls within the scope of the Administrator's business activities.

Your personal data will be processed manually or automatically in order to provide you with comprehensive business information on the services offered by the hotel, for business purposes in accordance with the law (accounting), as well as for statistical purposes.

The controller shall process your personal data to the extent that they are shared
by you.

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

request from the Controller access to your personal data,

- request the Administrator to rectify your personal data,

- request the Administrator to delete your personal data,

- request the Controller to restrict the processing of your personal data,

- to object to the processing of your personal data,

- the portability of your personal data,

- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

The Administrator will store your personal data and the data entrusted for processing in a special database of contractors, for the duration of your stay and after check-out from the hotel,
until such time as consent is withdrawn.

We store your personal data for the purposes of:

 - to comply with legal obligations, including in particular tax obligations
and accounting,

- statistics and archiving,

- the assertion of possible claims by the hotel in relation to damage caused by the Guest or the defence of claims by the Guest against the hotel,

- documenting the provision of the service for tax purposes

If the guest withdraws his or her consent, we store the data relating to the documentation of the stay for a maximum period of 5 years from the date of completion of the contract, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

For the same period of time, the company will use your data collected through the website for the purpose of creating so-called personalised advertising and tracking your traffic on its website, and for statistical purposes.

§4

DATA OBTAINED

The data held by the Administrator comes from the data subjects (i.e. directly
from you or from persons authorised by you to provide such data, as well as
from the booking portals on which you have booked your stay in our hotel.

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, but failure to do so will prevent us from responding to your enquiry, booking or carrying out the service.

COOKIE POLICY

The website uses cookies, i.e. computer data, in particular text files, stored on the device of the person using the website and intended for the use of the website. Cookies are harmless to your computer as well as to your data.

The condition for cookies to work is that you accept them in the browser you are using.

You have the full right to withdraw or amend your consent at any time.
on the use of cookies by changing the settings on the device through which they browse the website, and to choose to delete them.
